About Me

I am a qualified person-centred counsellor dedicated to supporting you on your journey to well-being. I specialise in individual therapy offering face to face sessions in Horley or Crawley; and online, via Zoom. Each person’s counselling journey is unique, which is why I provide both short-term and long-term counselling options tailored to each individual’s needs.

With a warm and empathic approach, I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or simply seeking personal growth I’m here to listen, understand, and support you every step of the way.

What is the counselling process?

Making contact

I recognise that taking the first step towards seeking help can be daunting and challenging. This stage is simply about making contact - there is no pressure or commitment. Contact can be made by message, phonecall or email, whichever feels most comfortable for you. I will get back to you, and together we can explore how we can move forward.

Consultation

The consultation is an opportunity to have an informal conversation about your reasons for seeking counselling and how therapy could support you. We’ll also explore your specific needs and whether we would be a good fit to work together. This is a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the process and what to expect before deciding to continue your counselling journey with me. Consultations are usually over the phone and can last up to 50 minutes.

The Counselling Journey

After the consultation, our counselling journey begins. As your counsellor, I will listen, without judgement and work with you to set goals that matter to you. Together, we focus on your personal growth and discovering more about yourself. I will support you in making positive changes in your life. My approach is about empowering you to take charge of your own path tailored to what you need and want from therapy.

Ending

The ending is a meaningful part of your counselling journey. When the time feels right, we will reflect on the progress made, explore your feelings around endings and acknowledge your growth and self-awareness. Endings are gentle, respectful and about affirming your ability to continue your journey with greater confidence and self-trust.
